Heating, Cooling, and Electrical Work Built for Cupertino Homes
Cupertino sits at the western edge of the valley, up against the foothills. Summer afternoons run hot, evenings cool off fast, and winters stay mild enough that a heat pump handles the whole year on its own. The catch in Cupertino is rarely the climate. It is the house. Sun exposure, tree cover, and elevation change how much work a system has to do from one side of the home to the other.
Many homes here started as single-story houses from the 1960s and 1970s and have been remodeled since, often with a second story, an addition, or a converted garage. The original system was sized for the original house. Add square footage and it cannot keep up, which is why upstairs bedrooms sit warm all afternoon while the living room stays cold. The fix is usually zoning or a separate system for the added space, not simply a bigger unit. We run the load calculation room by room and show you where the shortfall actually is.
Ozone Service is licensed in both HVAC and electrical, which matters in Cupertino because these projects rarely stay on one side of the line. A heat pump, an EV charger, and a remodel circuit can all land on the same panel in the same year. Switching to a heat pump rarely requires a panel upgrade. We check the panel during the free estimate so you know what your home needs before you commit to anything.

Why Homeowners Choose Ozone Service
Rebates & Incentives for Bay Area Homeowners
Ozone Service has secured over $350,000 in rebates in the past 6 months. We help Bay Area homeowners reduce the cost of upgrading to energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. Depending on your location, utility provider, and equipment selected, you may qualify for valuable rebates and financing programs. We handle the documentation - most contractors don't.
Free Estimates & Free Diagnostics
No trip fee. No diagnostic charge. We assess the full system, identify the problem, and hand you a written scope and price before any work begins. After fixing a compressor for one of our clients, Tim checked the rest of the system at no extra charge to rule out downstream issues. That's not exceptional - that's how we work.
EPA 608 Certified & BBB Accredited
Handling refrigerant the right way matters. Our EPA 608 certified technicians follow strict standards for refrigerant recovery, leak prevention, and system charging - helping protect the environment while keeping your HVAC system efficient and reliable. BBB Accreditation means there's a paper trail and accountability if anything falls short.
HVAC + Electrical Under One Roof
Heat pump installations require both HVAC and electrical work. Because Ozone Service is licensed in both trades, we provide complete in-house service from start to finish - no need to coordinate multiple contractors. From equipment installation and wiring to permits and final testing, everything is handled under one roof for a smoother, faster project.
Up to 12-Year Warranty on Parts & Labor
We put up to 12 years on both parts and labor in writing - because a system installed correctly shouldn't need to be touched. If your home needs a panel upgrade or additional electrical work as part of the project, that's covered under the same warranty. One scope, one guarantee.
24/7 Emergency HVAC & Electrical Service
AC failed at midnight? Furnace out on a cold weekend? Electrical issue that can’t wait? Our team responds around the clock — same technicians, same quality, any time of day or night.

Rebates and Incentives for Cupertino Homeowners
Moving from gas to efficient electric heating and cooling in Cupertino can qualify for significant rebates, and the programs stack, so a local incentive can be combined with the main statewide program. This matters most during a remodel, when a heat pump, a water heater, and electrical work often happen in the same project and more than one program can apply at once.
Cupertino homes are served by PG&E and by Silicon Valley Clean Energy, the community energy provider for Santa Clara County cities, and those programs can stack with other programs available at that time.
Rebate amounts and requirements change and depend on your specific project, so we confirm which programs apply, make sure your installation qualifies, and handle the documentation. Ask us early, because some programs depend on decisions made before the equipment is ordered.

What Our Customers Say
EXCELLENT Based on 85 reviews Posted on Google Md. Abul Bashar ShantoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got a full heat pump system installed last month and honestly couldn't be happier with how the whole process went. From the first visit to final inspection, the team was organized and clearly knew what they were doing. What I didn't expect was how much help they gave me with the rebate programs - I had no idea how much money was available until Konstantin walked me through everything. They handled all the paperwork on their end, and my out-of-pocket ended up being significantly less than the initial quote. The system has been running quietly and efficiently since day one. Highly recommend to anyone in San Jose thinking about making the switch.Posted on Google faiqah firzanahTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AC stopped working on a Friday afternoon. Called Ozone, they came out the same day, found the issue fast, and had everything running before dinner. No drama, fair price. Thanks guys.Posted on Google Amit MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very efficient, on-time and fair priced. Thank you.Posted on Google A LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a great meeting with Konstantin who explained "AC + furnace" vs heat pump, options, decision points. He presented impartially many technical and practical details and considerations that I find critical in making the right choices. Update: The heat pump installation was completed on time with no hiccups. Aleksander, the lead installer, was great in both the technical side but also explaining to me some very important details of the job and the future use. Definitely recommend them!Posted on Google Mark BernalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very helpful in diagnostics check. Technician was careful and throughoutPosted on Google Nanping JiangTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We needed a completely new HVAC system installed, and we had a great experience working with this team. I’ll admit I’m pretty picky and detail-oriented when it comes to work being done on our house, especially during a major renovation, so I don’t give praise lightly. That’s part of why I wanted to write this review. Konstantine took the time to explain the product options and installation process very clearly, which made us feel confident from the beginning. He was always responsive and easy to reach — whenever we had questions or concerns, he picked up the phone, understood our situation, and worked hard with us to solve problems in a thoughtful and kind way. That level of care meant a lot to us. Since we’re doing a full house renovation, we later needed to relocate some HVAC vents and return locations that had already been installed. Even though this meant coming back to our house multiple times, they were incredibly kind and accommodating about making those changes for us. Special thanks to Alex for going above and beyond — we really appreciated his patience and help, especially since they had to come back more than three times for us. The whole team was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. Even as someone who is pretty particular, I was very pleased with their work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC service.Posted on Google Alex PérezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Truly outstanding service and HVAC system. Konstantin and his group are extremely competent professionals who are very fairly priced and honest in their dealings. We were extremely impressed by how knowledgeable, polite, and hardworking the Ozone folks are. It’s an amazing business and I will use them for all HVAC needs. Frequently Asked Questions
Upstairs is always hotter than downstairs. Can that be fixed without replacing everything?
Yes, in most cases it can. Uneven temperatures usually come from one system trying to serve two floors through ducts that were never balanced for it. Depending on what you have, the fix can be duct modifications, adding a zone, or putting a small ductless unit in the rooms that run hot. We look at all three before recommending a full replacement.
We are planning a remodel or an addition. When should we bring you in?
Bring us in during the planning stage before walls close. Sizing, duct routing, and electrical are far cheaper to solve on paper than after framing. Early planning also keeps your options open on rebate programs, since some of them depend on choices made before equipment is ordered.
Can we add an EV charger and a heat pump without upgrading the panel?
In many cases, yes. Homeowners assume both together mean a new panel, and that is often not true. We calculate your actual electrical load, and where capacity is tight there are usually options that cost far less than a full panel replacement. If an upgrade really is needed, we tell you why, and our own electricians do the work under the same contract.
Can you heat and cool an ADU or a converted garage?
Yes, we can. These spaces almost always work better on their own system rather than an extension of the main house, since they are used on a different schedule and often have different insulation. A single ductless unit usually covers an ADU, and it is metered and controlled separately from the rest of the home.
