Heating Contractor in San Jose, CA

Our own technicians install, replace, and repair heat pumps, furnaces, ductless mini-splits, and heat pump water heaters. We size the equipment with a load calculation tailored to your specific home. That single decision determines how quietly and how cheaply the system runs for the rest of its service life.

Bay Area heating runs on a mix of equipment that has almost nothing in common, from gas furnaces installed before most of these homes changed owners to heat pumps that cover heating and cooling at once.

What connects them is that the outcome depends less on the brand than on whether someone measured the house before choosing the equipment, pulled the permit, and stayed accountable after the invoice cleared. That is the part we handle. If your existing system can be repaired economically, we will tell you that instead of quoting a replacement.

Heat Pump Installation

One electric system that both heats and cools, sized by load calculation rather than by the capacity of whatever was there before. A panel upgrade is rarely required in most cases, and we confirm that during the estimate.

Why Bay Area Homeowners Choose Ozone Service

HVAC and Electrical Under One License Holder

Some heating upgrades also involve electrical work. We hold both licenses and keep both trades on staff so we can evaluate the full picture honestly.

EPA 608 Certified Technicians

We measure and set the refrigerant charge for your specific installation so the system runs at the efficiency it was rated for.

Load Calculation on Every Installation

An oversized system short cycles and wears out early. An undersized system runs constantly and never reaches setpoint. We calculate the actual load for your home before we recommend equipment.

100% City Inspection Pass Rate

Every installation we complete passes city inspection. That comes from pulling proper permits, sizing equipment correctly, and not cutting corners on the parts inspectors actually check.

Our Own Technicians, Not Subcontractors

One team, one contract, and one point of accountability from the estimate through the final inspection.

Step 1

Assessment and Estimate

We evaluate the existing system, the ductwork, and the electrical service, then give you a written scope and price.

Step 2

System Selection

We match the configuration to how your home is actually built: ducted or ductless, single zone or several, where the equipment can sit without becoming a noise problem for the bedroom next to it. You get the reasoning behind the recommendation, not just a model number.

Step 3

Permits

We pull the required permits through the city or county building department before work begins.

Step 4

Installation

Our technicians complete the work. Projects involving ductwork or electrical scope get a specific timeline at the estimate before you commit.

Step 5

Inspection and Commissioning

We verify refrigerant charge, airflow, and thermostat operation, pass the city inspection, and walk you through the controls.

What Our Customers Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a heat pump provide enough heat for the Bay Area climate?

Yes, it does. Bay Area winters stay well within the range where a properly sized heat pump maintains full heating capacity, which is not always true in colder climates. You also get cooling from the same system, so one piece of equipment covers the whole year.

That depends on the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair, and how the system has been performing overall. As a rule of thumb, if the unit is near the end of its service life and the repair takes up a significant share of replacement cost, replacement usually makes more sense. We run free diagnostics first and give you both numbers, so the decision stays yours.

Yes, we do. Gas and electric heating are different disciplines, and plenty of contractors specialize in one and quietly discourage the other. We work on both, so when we recommend a direction, it reflects your home and your budget rather than the limits of our own bench.

We are available 24/7 and treat no-heat calls as a priority, especially in homes with children or elderly residents. In most cases we get out the same day. Diagnostics are free, and you approve the repair price before any work starts.

No, in most cases it will not. Many Bay Area homes already have enough service capacity for a modern heat pump. We check the panel during the free estimate, and because we hold both an HVAC and an electrical license, we can tell you honestly whether an upgrade is genuinely needed instead of quoting one by default and adding costs you do not need.

Our installation work carries a three-year workmanship warranty as standard. That coverage can extend up to 12 years if you stay on annual maintenance from the fourth year onward, and we cover the first two of those visits, in years four and five, at no charge. Extended labor coverage also depends on the equipment warranty behind it. The equipment itself is covered by its manufacturer for up to 12 years depending on the brand. Repairs carry a one-year warranty on our work. Whatever applies to your project is written into your estimate before you approve anything.
