Does a heat pump provide enough heat for the Bay Area climate?
Yes, it does. Bay Area winters stay well within the range where a properly sized heat pump maintains full heating capacity, which is not always true in colder climates. You also get cooling from the same system, so one piece of equipment covers the whole year.
Should I repair my heating system or replace it?
That depends on the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair, and how the system has been performing overall. As a rule of thumb, if the unit is near the end of its service life and the repair takes up a significant share of replacement cost, replacement usually makes more sense. We run free diagnostics first and give you both numbers, so the decision stays yours.
Do you service both gas furnaces and electric heat pumps?

What if the heat goes out at night or over a weekend?

Will a heat pump require an electrical panel upgrade?
No, in most cases it will not. Many Bay Area homes already have enough service capacity for a modern heat pump. We check the panel during the free estimate, and because we hold both an HVAC and an electrical license, we can tell you honestly whether an upgrade is genuinely needed instead of quoting one by default and adding costs you do not need.
What warranty comes with a heating installation?
Our installation work carries a three-year workmanship warranty as standard. That coverage can extend up to 12 years if you stay on annual maintenance from the fourth year onward, and we cover the first two of those visits, in years four and five, at no charge. Extended labor coverage also depends on the equipment warranty behind it. The equipment itself is covered by its manufacturer for up to 12 years depending on the brand. Repairs carry a one-year warranty on our work. Whatever applies to your project is written into your estimate before you approve anything.
