Where We Work
Our service area covers the South Bay and the Peninsula, from Morgan Hill up to Millbrae and Burlingame. That is a lot of ground, and no two cities in it work quite the same way. Each one has its own building department and its own utility provider, and the homes themselves change from one neighborhood to the next. We plan every job with those local details in mind.
If you live in Santa Clara County or San Mateo County, you are in our service area. Look for your city below, or just call us and we will confirm your address.
Santa Clara County
This is our home county, and the houses here come in every shape. You will find postwar ranch homes, mid-century houses that were built without ducts, and hillside properties with several levels. Why does that matter? Because each type needs a different plan for system size, ductwork, and electrical capacity. So we start with your house and build the project around it, not around a standard package.
San Mateo County
Many homes on the Peninsula were built for mild weather and never had central air. If yours only has a furnace, you have two common ways to add cooling. A ductless system works well when there are no ducts to use. A heat pump goes a step further, since it replaces the furnace and cools the house too. Older electrical service is also common in these homes, which is where holding both licenses helps: one team takes care of the HVAC and the electrical work.

Rebates Depend on Where You Live
Rebates and incentives are tied to your city and your utility provider, and the programs change during the year. That means two homes a few miles apart can qualify for different ones.
You do not have to sort this out yourself. We check what applies to your address before you commit to anything, make sure the installation meets the program requirements, and then handle the paperwork. For the current details, talk to our manager by phone or at your free estimate.

Called OZONE late Friday night and had Andrew out by 8am Saturday. He diagnosed the failed starting component quickly, had the part on the truck, and had the system running and verified cold before he left. On time, no upselling on a old unit, one-year warranty on the repair. Exactly what you want from a service call. Highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

Konstantine and Paul (and one other) were excellent. Price as the best among 5 quotes. Professional. Replaced our 3.5 ton carrier gas+AC with a daikin 3.5 ton heat pump in 2 days (all to code with permits, inspectors pending).Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ozone Service charge a trip fee?
No, we don’t. Estimates and diagnostics are free in every city we serve, and it makes no difference how far you are from San Jose.
Do I need a permit to replace my HVAC system?
Yes, you do. HVAC replacement is permitted work in the cities we serve. We pull the permit from your local building department and schedule the inspection, so you don’t have to deal with any of it.
Does Ozone Service do commercial HVAC work?
Yes, we do. We work with businesses as well as homeowners across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. For a commercial property, call us to talk through the scope and timeline.
How long is the warranty on a new HVAC system?
Our labor warranty on a new installation is 3 years. With yearly maintenance, it can extend up to 12 years, depending on the equipment. The manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment itself runs up to 12 years and varies by brand. The full terms are on our Warranty page.
Is a heat pump worth it in the Bay Area?
Yes, it is. Winters here are mild, so a heat pump runs efficiently all year. It also heats and cools your home with one system, which means you don’t need a separate furnace and AC.
What should I do if my city is not on the list?
Give us a call at (669) 323-7077. Our service area is not limited to the cities listed above. We work throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, so there is a good chance we cover your address. We will confirm it right away.
