Two Warranties Cover Your System
Every job we complete carries two separate warranties. Knowing which one applies saves time when something needs attention.
Our labor warranty covers our work: the installation itself, the connections, the commissioning, the workmanship.
This is the warranty we issue and we honor.
The manufacturer warranty covers the equipment and its parts. Length and conditions are set by the manufacturer of the system installed in your home, and the applicable warranty is identified in your estimate.
When you call with a warranty question, we determine which one applies and take it from there. You do not have to figure that out yourself.

HVAC Installation:
Up to 12 years
Every HVAC installation we complete comes with up to 12 years labor warranty from the installation date. If a problem related to the quality of our work arises during the warranty period, we will return and fix it free of charge.
Manufacturers generally recommend that maintenance begin in the fourth year after installation, and the extended labor warranty follows that same schedule: one service visit a year, without interruption. How far the extension goes depends on the equipment, because our labor warranty is capped at the manufacturer’s own term on that system. On some systems, that reaches up to 12 years. At the estimate stage we will tell you exactly which terms apply to the system we are proposing.
How the Extended Labor Warranty Works
Step 1
Years 1 to 3
Labor is covered automatically. Nothing is required from you.
Step 2
Year 4
Annual maintenance begins. This is the point at which the labor warranty either continues or ends.
Step 3
Years 4 and 5
Ozone Service provides two years of complimentary maintenance. We schedule the visits and perform them at no cost to you.
Step 4
6 onward
Annual maintenance continues under an agreement with any California-licensed HVAC contractor for as long as the manufacturer parts warranty runs. As long as maintenance. is uninterrupted, the labor warranty stays active up to the length of that manufacturer warranty.
Electrical Work:
One Year on Labor
Ozone Service is a Bay Area HVAC and electrical company based in San Jose – and we built it on one principle: do the job right, stand behind it, and never send someone to your home you wouldn’t trust with your own. Every technician on our team is EPA 608 certified, background checked, drug tested, and fully insured.
We serve homeowners across Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties – heat pump installations, furnace repairs, panel upgrades, EV charger installs. Every job is permitted, inspected, and backed by a warranty up to 12 years.
One call, one team, one warranty.
We Register Your
Equipment for You
Manufacturer warranties usually require the installed equipment to be registered, and missing that step can shorten the coverage you paid for.
We register your equipment with the manufacturer within 10 business days after installation and testing. You do not fill out anything, and you do not track a deadline. The manufacturer warranty that applies to your system is identified in your estimate, so the terms are on paper before the work starts.
No Diagnostic Fee.
No Labor Charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does your warranty cover both labor and equipment?
Yes, both are covered, but by two separate warranties. Our warranty covers our labor and workmanship. The equipment and its parts are covered by the manufacturer of the system installed, and that warranty is identified in your estimate.
Is the extended labor warranty on HVAC installation automatic?
No, it is not. The standard term is three years. Extending it requires annual maintenance beginning in year four and continuing without interruption. We offer 2 years of complimentary maintenance to our clients. If maintenance stops, the extension stops with it.
Do you register my equipment with the manufacturer?
Yes, we do. Registration is completed within 10 business days after your system is installed and tested. You do not need to submit anything or track a deadline yourself.
Will I be charged a diagnostic or trip fee on a warranty visit?
No, you will not. Covered warranty visits carry no diagnostic fee and no labor charge.
Can the labor warranty last longer than the manufacturer warranty on the equipment?
No, it cannot. Our labor warranty is capped at the length of the manufacturer warranty for the equipment installed, whatever that term turns out to be.
Does electrical work come with a warranty?
Yes, it does. Electrical installation and electrical repair both carry a one-year labor warranty, with equipment covered separately under the manufacturer warranty.
Do warranty requests get scheduled ahead of other service calls?
Yes, they do. Warranty visits receive priority scheduling, and we confirm the appointment with you directly.
Do I get the warranty terms in writing before work begins?
Yes, you do. The manufacturer warranty that applies to your equipment is identified in your estimate, and the estimate is part of your contract. Terms vary by manufacturer, so what you receive reflects the specific system installed in your home.
Exactly What Your System Would Be Covered For
Warranty length depends on the equipment, so the real answer is specific to your home. We put it in writing as part of the free estimate, along with the scope and the price
